Wet Chopped Strands
2025-09-27Wet Chopped Strands are produced by chopping wet fiberglass strands into a certain length.The surface of strands is coated with a silane-based size which imparts a specific applicatlon property to the product.E-glass wet chopped strands are designed for reinforcing unsaturated polyester,epoxy and phenolic resins and gypsum.Wet chopped Strand are principally used in the in-water dispersion process to produce wet-formed fiberglass mats which can enhance surface strength,smoothness and chemical resistance of end products,and have numerous applications including water-proof roofing materials,GRP surface,facing material,floor covering and battery separators.
