Wet Chopped Strands are produced by chopping wet fiberglass strands into a certain length.The surface of strands is coated with a silane-based size which imparts a specific applicatlon property to  the  product.E-glass  wet  chopped  strands  are  designed  for reinforcing unsaturated polyester,epoxy and phenolic resins and gypsum.Wet chopped Strand are principally used in the in-water dispersion process to produce wet-formed fiberglass mats which can    enhance    surface    strength,smoothness    and    chemical resistance  of  end  products,and  have  numerous  applications including   water-proof   roofing    materials,GRP    surface,facing material,floor covering and battery separators.

Product  Features
1.Dry chopped strands has good strand integrity and good wet-out in resins,which improves the strength  of the end products;a certain degree of stiffness,which facilitates chopping,dispersion and flow;low fuzz, which results in a good appearance of the end products;good dispersion in cement slurry;and low static, which prevents the lumping of strands.
2.Wet Chopped Strand:Moderate moisture content,good dispersion in water,no lumps or strips.

Package:
1.Dry chopped strands can be packed in carton boxes,composite plastic woven bags,wooden crates or bulk  bags;bulk  bags  and  wooden  boxes  can  hold  500kg-1000kg  each;carton  boxes  and  composite plastic woven bags can hold 15kg-25kg each.
2.Wet chopped strands are packed in either crates or bulk bags.A wooden crate is lined with a composite plastic woven bag and holds plastic bags each containing 15kg-25kg chopped strands,and bulk bags can typically hold 500kg-1000kg each.

Storage:
Unless otherwise specified,fiberglass  products  should  be  stored  in  a  dry,cool  and  rain-proof  area.It  is recommended that the room temperature and humidity should be always maintained at  15℃-35℃ and 35%-65%respectively.
